Job Summary The Overhaul Mechanic (Non-A&P) supports the disassembly, inspection, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of aircraft components and subassemblies in the overhaul process. This role focuses on executing standardized work, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting A&P-certified mechanics and inspectors in returning components to service. Position Responsibilities Disassemble, clean, and reassemble aircraft components and subassemblies in accordance with work instructions and engineering specifications Perform detailed inspections of parts for wear, damage, or defects; document findings and escalate issues as needed Support A&P mechanics and inspectors with component overhaul and repair activities Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment to complete assigned tasks Follow all FAA, company, and quality procedures to ensure compliance and airworthiness standards Maintain accurate records of work performed, including job travelers and inspection documentation Ensure proper handling, tagging, and storage of parts throughout the overhaul process Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards Assist with troubleshooting and basic root cause identification under supervision Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent required 1–3+ years of mechanical, manufacturing, or aviation-related experience preferred Experience working with hand tools, mechanical assemblies, or technical repair work Ability to read and follow technical instructions, manuals, and basic blueprints Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or MRO environment Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair station processes (not required) Technical training or trade school background Supervisory Responsibilities None Hiring Pay Range: $24.00- $35.00 hourly What can a career at RHC offer you?
