Position Summary This role requires a hands-on engineer who can take projects from concept through design, manufacturing, and final implementation, while collaborating closely with customers, sales, and shop personnel. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with sales and customers to understand application requirements and develop effective mechanical solutions Design and engineer custom equipment and systems to solve complex technical challenges Create detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks Develop complete drawing packages for manufacturing, including BOMs and fabrication details Manage projects from initial concept through final build and implementation Provide hands-on support during assembly, testing, and troubleshooting in the shop Assist in evaluating and improving designs for manufacturability and performance Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering and design processes Support and potentially develop skills in robotic integration, including ABB robot programming Experience with GD&T to interpret, apply, and communicate engineering design intent on drawings Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer
