Will be responsible for completing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment including preparation of plans, reports, and design of sketches. Tasked with insuring the preparation of accurate and complete work products. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Key Responsibilities: Design and review of pressure regulators, flow meters, valves and other instrumentation. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations, Prepare, review, and approve engineering drawings and calculations, Ensure consistency of drawings that are being submitted in terms of appearance, content, and standards in a timely manner, Coordinate project assignments and deadlines with internal and external stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical Engineering in the state of California required, 15+ years’ experience in gas distribution/transmission, utilities, or a related field, Solid understanding with industry standards, Prior experience in the oil and gas industry highly desired, Ability to produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphics with CAD software, Excellent technical, verbal and written communication skills, Ability to multitask and work on several projects concurrently.
