Job Description
About the Role: We’re seeking a skilled and proactive PLC Technician to support and enhance our manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving plant equipment, with a strong focus on PLC systems and electrical infrastructure. Responsibilities: Install, program, troubleshoot, and repair Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems across manufacturing equipment Develop and modify advanced Allen-Bradley PLC logic to support operational efficiency Diagnose and resolve issues within PLC circuits, electrical systems, and automated processes Design and build control panels and interface systems for machinery and production lines Evaluate existing equipment and recommend automation improvements using PLC technology Configure, troubleshoot, and support motor drives and power transmission systems Maintain and service plant electrical infrastructure, including switchgear and related components Perform electrical and electronic diagnostics, repairs, and installations throughout the facility Track and document equipment performance, including barrel and screw inventory, maintenance history, and throughput data Support both electrical and mechanical maintenance activities as needed Recognize when additional expertise or resources are required and escalate appropriately Adhere to all company safety standards, policies, and procedures Qualifications Strong experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system integration Hands-on knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and automation Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Willingness to take on a wide range of maintenance responsibilities in a manufacturing environment EEO Policy: Allied Resources complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmative action laws and regulations.
