Job Description
Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Med Surg RN (Registered Nurse) to join our team in Scottsbluff, NE, supporting one of our valued hospital partners. As a medical-surgical nurse, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical conditions. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based care. In this position, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in patient status, intervening promptly and collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. You will administer medications and IV therapies, manage lines and drains, provide wound and post-operative care, and support pain management while following all facility protocols and professional nursing standards. Accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record is essential, as is effective communication during handoffs and multidisciplinary rounds. Working through Capstone Healthcare Staffing, you will be part of an organization that values a culture of care and dedication, prioritizing quality placements and supporting both our clients and healthcare professionals. You will educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions, contributing to safe transitions of care and positive patient outcomes. You will also uphold strict infection prevention and control practices, maintain a safe environment, and advocate for patient rights, privacy, and dignity at all times. This Med Surg RN role in Scottsbluff offers the opportunity to broaden your clinical skills while working with diverse patient populations and health conditions. You will collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans, participate in care conferences, and support the hospital’s quality and safety initiatives. Capstone Healthcare Staffing provides a supportive environment with opportunities to grow in the healthcare staffing industry, connecting you to fulfilling assignments that match your skills, interests, and career goals. Candidates should hold an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Nebraska (or a compact license with Nebraska eligibility), along with current BLS certification, and preferably ACLS. Prior medical-surgical or acute care experience is preferred, and strong clinical judgment, time-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. If you are a compassionate Med Surg RN looking to make a meaningful impact while working with a staffing partner that truly values you, we invite you to explore this opportunity with Capstone Healthcare Staffing in Scottsbluff, NE.
