Responsibilities Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, updating records, and verifying insurance information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to monitor patient health status accurately Prepare patients for examinations or procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process Administer medications or injections following proper protocols and under supervision when applicable Document clinical notes, ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding for diagnoses, and treatment details precisely in the medical records Perform administrative duties including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and supporting billing processes. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for accurate patient assessment and documentation Experience working in outpatient clinics Proficiency with EHR systems for efficient data entry and retrieval of patient information Familiarity with ICD coding for diagnoses to support billing and insurance claims processes Ability to perform intake procedures, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic diagnostic tests confidently Excellent patient service skills with compassionate communication to ensure comfort and trust during visits Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values professionalism, compassion, and continuous learning.
