Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and current medications accurately to support clinical assessments Prepare patients for examinations by taking detailed histories and explaining procedures clearly Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as administering medications, or collecting specimens when necessary Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake, and follow-up communications efficiently to optimize clinic flow Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and procedural notes in compliance with healthcare regulations Support clinical staff with tasks related to anatomy knowledge, physiology, emergency medicine protocols, or hospital experience as needed Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or Medical Receptionist in outpatient clinics or hospital settings, preferably internal medicine, or urgent care backgrounds Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding practices Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions such as scheduling and billing Ability to handle diverse responsibilities including patient care, intake procedures, vital signs collection, and emergency response protocols confidently This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a difference in patient lives while advancing their healthcare careers.
