About Us:Novel OBGYN is a dynamic, physician-led OBGYN practice committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.Our team prides itself on maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, compassion, and professionalism.We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant who shares our passion for women's health and quality care.Position Summary:The Medical Assistant will support providers and clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced OBGYN environment.This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.Key Responsibilities:Prepare patients for examination, including obtaining vital signs and medical history Assist physicians with exams and in-office procedures Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and basic lab testing as needed Administer injections and medications under provider direction Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations Provide patient education and instructions as directed by providers Clean and prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication Requirements:Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (preferred) Minimum of 2 year of clinical experience (OBGYN experience strongly preferred) Proficiency with EMR systems (Athena Health experience strongly preferred) Bilingual (spanish and english) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Full-Time Benefits:Competitive hourly pay Free Covered Parking Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and holidays 401(k) with employer contribution Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive, team-oriented work environment Pay:$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Free parking Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
