This role supports our Ascentist Healthcare clinics, helping us deliver exceptional care across our locations in Kansas and Missouri. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting a variety of clinical areas, working alongside different providers and care teams. You will help maintain a professional and efficient environment while using strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff and providers, ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes for every patient. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Rooming patients and preparing them for their visit Collecting and documenting medical history and vital signs Chart prepping and maintaining accurate patient records Assisting providers during in-office procedures Preparing patients and procedure rooms ahead of treatments Submitting prior authorizations as needed Supporting clinic operations and ensuring a smooth patient flow Ascentist welcomes team members who are striving to reach new heights in their personal and professional development.
