Alpine Basin Care is a locally owned, provider-led practice offering wound care, mobile primary care, and transitional care across Northern Nevada.We are growing and looking for a Medical Director to provide oversight, support our providers, and help ensure we remain compliant as we expand.This role is flexible and designed for someone who wants meaningful involvement without a heavy clinical load.Role Provide clinical oversight across wound care, primary care, and transitional care services.Support providers, review charts, help develop protocols, and be available for consultation when needed.Assist with compliance, quality assurance, and general clinical guidance as the organization grows.Nevada Requirements Must hold an active Nevada MD or DO license Responsible for oversight of medical services and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Provides supervision, protocol development, and quality assurance Available for consultation and clinical guidance as needed Maintains compliance with Nevada corporate practice of medicine standards Qualifications:Nevada licensed physician (MD or DO) Experience in wound care, primary care, or post-acute care preferred Previous leadership or medical director experience is a plus Comfortable working with nurse practitioners in a collaborative model Willing to oversee 1-2 Physician Assistants and new nurse practioners requiring MD oversight Structure and Compensation Part-time or contract (1099) Flexible involvement based on availability Compensation dependent on scope and time commitment Minimal required clinical volume unless desired About Us We are a FNP owned group focused on keeping patients healthy at home.Our model prioritizes quality care, reasonable patient volume, and supporting our clinicians so they can do good work without burnout.If you're interested in a flexible leadership role with a growing local practice, we'd be happy to connect.Pay:From $12,000.00 per year Benefits:Flexible schedule Work Location:Hybrid remote in Fernley, NV 89408.
