Sports Physiatrist - Private Practice Division HC - Providers (Physicians) Location Newton Center, Massachusetts Employment Type Permanent Highly regarded, Mass General Brigham-affiliated orthopedic practice is seeking a Sports trained Physiatrist to bring EMGs and advanced injections in house. This is a full time permanent position with guaranteed salary, malpractice coverage and benefits Job Description Compensation : $280000 - $350000 Job ID : 44548 Job Function: Perform and interpret EMG studies (high existing demand; currently outsourced) Sports medicine focus with PRPs, cortisone injections, and MSK care Work closely with 4 high volume orthopedic surgeons (upper & full body) + 4 PAs Majority procedural role: 60-70% injections / 30-40% EMGs Full time, Mon-Fri schedule (7am-5pm; shorter Fridays usually out by 4/4:30) No call or weekends Job Requirements: MD or DO, PM&R Sports Medicine training required Strong EMG experience (quality is critical) High end academic training strongly preferred (MGH, BWH, NYU, Harvard affiliated, etc.) New grad or mid career considered if training is strong Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
