Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Front Office Manager to oversee the administrative operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive medical office experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management systems. In this role, you will coordinate front desk activities, supervise administrative staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, and facilitate efficient patient flow. Your expertise in medical administrative support and office management will be vital in delivering exceptional patient service and maintaining smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Supervise daily front office functions, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and billing processes. Manage daily scheduling both in the various clinic office as well as in the laboratory to optimize use of personnel as well as patient experience Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow while maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Supervise administrative personnel, providing training in medical terminology, medical management practices, and customer service excellence. Facilitate human resources functions including hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives. Implement process improvements to streamline clinic operations and enhance patient satisfaction. Manage credentialing with hospitals, facilities, and insurance companies of all providers Manage office supplies and needs Manage payroll on a biweekly basis Manage bill payment for office needs Experience Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical setting. Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing administrative teams in busy healthcare environments. Extensive knowledge of medical office procedures, billing practices, and medical records management. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and clinical workflows.
