Position Summary Rome Health is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Medical Imaging Tech Aide to join our Medical Imaging team on a per diem basis. Under general supervision, the Medical Imaging Tech Aide supports departmental workflow and patient care operations while maintaining productivity and ensuring a safe, compassionate patient experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Assist with maintaining patient and departmental flow within the imaging department Provide compassionate, appropriate, and accurate patient care support Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, physicians, technologists, and staff Verify patient identity using two patient identifiers Assess patient mobility limitations and physical capabilities Prioritize patient safety and identify contraindications or concerns for technologist review Support patient preparation and transport as needed Collaborate with healthcare professionals and departments to provide patient-focused care Scan pertinent documents and technologist notes into PACS Assist in expediting patient throughput and successive imaging services Demonstrate competency in all assigned responsibilities following departmental training Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience Experience in an acute care hospital or medical office setting preferred KnowledgeSkills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and varying medical conditions Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Commitment to patient safety and quality care Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment Basic computer and documentation skills preferred Why Join Rome Health?
