Description - Your Role in the Lab Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established guidelines. Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment. Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary. Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training for new team members or students, and ensure lab quality standards are consistently met. Maintain a pristine, safe working environment and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within one year of hire. Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
