Description This position supports patient care by providing accurate medical laboratory diagnostic and therapeutic information. The role is responsible for performing routine laboratory tests on human body fluids and tissues to generate reliable data for the healthcare team. The individual ensures compliance with quality assurance and quality control standards, evaluates the accuracy of test results, monitors instrument performance, assesses specimen suitability, and applies sound clinical judgment in all aspects of testing. Primary Function of Organizational Unit: The mission of Student Health Center is to provide physical, psychological, environmental and wellness services to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University students, facility, and staff.
