Medical Office Manager - Fort Myers The role of a Medical Office Manager in Fort Myers is critical for the efficient operation of healthcare facilities. As a key player in the organization, you will oversee the daily administrative functions of a medical office while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This position not only demands strong leadership skills but also a keen understanding of the medical industry, as you will be responsible for managing both personnel and patient interactions. This role 100% requires a multilingual Spanish/English speaker. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the medical office, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient patient service. Manage office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Maintain medical records with accuracy and confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to improve efficiency. Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure timely follow-ups. Manage billing and coding processes in collaboration with the finance team. Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues effectively and compassionately. Monitor inventory of medical supplies and ensure adequate stock levels. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring office expenses. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and operational processes. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field is preferred. Proven experience in a medical office environment, with at least 2-5 years in a management role. Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in medical software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
