Responsibilities Manage front desk operations including answering multi-line phones with professional phone etiquette, handling patient inquiries, and scheduling appointments efficiently. Greet patients warmly, manage appointment scheduling, and coordinate patient intake procedures. Collaborate with clinical staff to support care plans by reviewing documentation and assisting with administrative tasks related to patient care coordination. Coordinate with Clinical staff for timely and accurate office occupancy per assigned daily schedule. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification to facilitate accurate billing and claims processing. Assist with documentation review, ensuring all patient records are complete, accurate, and compliant with HIPAA regulations. Support medical billing activities as needed and requested. Support the general strategy and mission of the practice by contributing to social media campaigns, posts and other marketing and admin related tasks (speaking with vendors, ordering collateral, etc) as needed. Experience Prior clinic or medical office experience is preferred but not required; entry-level candidates with strong organizational skills are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with medical or reservation systems. Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, CPT coding, and medical billing processes is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information following HIPAA guidelines with integrity and discretion. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing accuracy (preferably 10-key typing). Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person; bilingual abilities are a plus. Experience working in dental clinics or hospital settings can be advantageous but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key!
