Details ~ Outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting ~ Day shift schedule ~13-week contract ~ No travel required for this position Requirements Active CA PT license required (license required if applicable) Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience Degree in Physical Therapy required Proficiency in EMR for documentation, evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries Computer skills including typing, Microsoft Word, and internet navigation required Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and PT billing procedures, including Medicare, workers' comp, and private pay Ability to lift 50+ lbs, assist with patient transfers, and remain physically mobile during 8–10 hour shifts involving sitting, walking, and prolonged standing DOB and SSN may be required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing rehabilitation programs, and guiding patient care through all phases of treatment and follow-up Supervises PT Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient care Collaborates with physicians, front office staff, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, quality patient care Responsible for accurate chart documentation, prescription follow-up, authorization tracking, and test result management Expected to maintain familiarity with HIPAA policies and actively protect patient privacy May be involved in business marketing and referral outreach as needed This facility was awarded Private Practice of the Year by the APTA American Traveler Job ID #P-704439.
