Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Radiologic Technologist to join our nationwide network of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will travel to a variety of hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers across the United States to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care. As a key member of the Healthcare & Medical Services team, you will use your technical expertise, clinical judgment, and patient-care skills to deliver safe, precise radiographic examinations in diverse clinical environments. Working as a Travel Radiologic Technologist with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols, ensuring proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality. You will operate a variety of imaging equipment, including digital and portable x-ray units, follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure, and adhere to all regulatory and safety standards. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team to prioritize exam workload, communicate critical findings promptly, and ensure smooth patient flow. Responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining exam rooms, verifying orders, documenting procedures in electronic health record systems, and following each facility’s policies for infection control, patient privacy, and documentation. You may be asked to work in emergency rooms, operating rooms, inpatient units, and outpatient or mobile settings, adapting quickly to each site’s workflow and equipment. You will orient quickly to new facilities, learn local protocols, and integrate into different teams while maintaining the high standards of Fusion Medical Staffing. You will manage your travel assignments, including schedule, housing arrangements in partnership with Fusion’s support staff, and compliance with credentialing and licensure requirements in multiple states as needed. Fusion Medical Staffing specializes in connecting talented clinicians with healthcare facilities nationwide, emphasizing well-matched placements that support both staff and patient needs. This position offers the opportunity to expand your clinical experience by working with diverse patient populations, equipment types, and practice settings. You will gain exposure to varied caseloads, protocols, and regional practices, building a broad and marketable skill set. Fusion Medical Staffing invests in your development by offering competitive compensation, access to benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and retirement plan options, while also helping you navigate licensing, continuing education, and assignment transitions. If you are a licensed Radiologic Technologist who enjoys travel, adapts well to new environments, and is committed to delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate imaging services, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care across the country while advancing your career within a supportive, growth-oriented organization.
