Job Description
We are looking for an organized and adept Medical Records Clerk who wants to grow with our organization.The ideal candidate must possess basic understanding of medical records principals including state/federal regulations.The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for the orderly, concise and timely filing of the residents' medical records.Responsibilities and Purpose Audit resident records and files from chart copy to active holding file.Accurately maintain schedules and record of medical records transactions.Receive, record and dispatch medical records to the physician or others for signatures in a timely fashion.Review and organize medical records to provide an accurate, factual and systematic record of care for each resident.Maintain, protect and store medical records for all patients in the facility.Understand and comply with state/federal laws that govern the resident's right to medical privacy unless authorization to disclose has been given by the resident or by the residents' legal responsible party.Desired Experience and Education Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.Some type of advanced medical training preferred.Benefits We offer competitive pay commensurate with experience.All full-time employees are eligible for benefits including:Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Career Ladder, Education Fund and Scholarship Opportunities Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Retirement Benefit (No Cost to You!)
