Pro Med Healthcare Services is currently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) for Medical Surgical positions. This role involves providing quality nursing care to patients in medical-surgical units, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout their hospital stay. As an LPN/LVN in medical-surgical settings, you will work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, monitor patient conditions, and assist with treatment plans. Start: ASAP Estimated Pay Package: $1500 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights 7p-7a Requirements: 1 year of hospital experience, BLS, long term care experience preferred; perm address +50mi from facility Unit is rehab beds for wound care, PT, IV therapy Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs. Assist with patient assessments and report any changes in condition promptly. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Provide patient and family education regarding care plans and health management. Requirements Active and valid LPN/LVN license in the state of practice. Minimum of 1 year experience in medical-surgical nursing or similar healthcare setting preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
