About Us and Our Purpose We are a local pediatric practice with community-roots serving families since 1988.We pride ourselves on having long-term patients and the cornerstone of our practice is the level of compassion that we express.We are parents, children, sisters and brothers ourselves and we are a sharp group of professionals that maintain the original heart that is the core of everything that we do as a practice.As an employee you will be a part of our family culture and make an impact with local families.How I Will Contribute Obtains patient information and updates health records.Measures and records patient vital signs in accordance with clinical protocols.Maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards of the facility.Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures, including specimen collection such as urinalysis and throat cultures.Assists patients and their families into the examination rooms.Stocks and sterilizes examination room between patients.Provides supportive care to pediatric patients during examinations and treatments, helping to ease anxiety and promote cooperation.Identifies and recommends improvements to workflows and system processes.Performs other duties as assigned.What You Bring to Genesis Pediatrics Experience Prior experience preferred as a Medical Technician or in a clinical setting.Job Competencies Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities while remaining professional and calm Strong level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of materials and information handled.Strong work ethic.Ability to work independently and be self-directed and flexible.Ability to prioritize.Ability to perform functions with minimal supervision.Ability to work at a high-volume level while being accurate.Availability to work some evening and rotating Saturdays.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
