The Medically Monitored Crisis Detox LPN JOB SUMMARY The Level II Residential LPN is responsible for the assessment and management of withdrawal signs/symptoms of clients presenting to the unit. These include initial medical assessments of clients during intake, and providing appropriate nursing care form Medical Detox, Medically Monitored Detox and Residential Services. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive; and employee will also perform other reasonably related job responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required. Review of admission and discharge criteria before admission t the unit and refer to Coordinator/Medical Director as appropriate. Perform the initial medical assessment of individuals within 2 hours of admission. Makes a determination of the appropriate detox protocol upon admission.
