Edwards Federal Credit Union is seeking a service-driven Member Consultant to serve as a trusted financial partner for our members.This role is the first point of contact for members seeking financial solutions beyond basic transactions, with a focus on account openings, consumer loan support, and proactive member outreach.Key Responsibilities Open deposit accounts including checking, savings, money markets, certificates, and IRAs.Assist members with consumer loan applications and close approved loans.Provide consultative conversations to identify member needs and recommend appropriate products and services.Conduct outbound calls for new member onboarding, loan follow-ups, and product promotions.Perform basic account maintenance and service requests.Handle cash transactions and balance cash drawer as needed.Meet or exceed referral, lending, and service goals.Ensure compliance with BSA/AML, OFAC, safety, and security requirements.Identify and report suspicious or fraudulent activity.Deliver timely follow-up and exceptional member service.Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of customer service or sales experience; financial institution experience preferred.Experience opening deposit accounts required.Knowledge of deposit products, consumer loans, and credit union services.Strong communication and consultative selling skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.Proficiency with core systems and standard office equipment.Commitment to confidentiality and service excellence.If you're passionate about helping members achieve their financial goals while living the values of People First, Do the Right Thing, and Make It Simple, we'd love to hear from you.Pay:$22.22 - $27.77 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Vision insurance Experience:Banking:3 years (Preferred) Loan Sales:1 year (Required) Account Opening:1 year (Required) Ability to Commute:Palmdale, CA 93551 (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
