Member of Technical Staff – Backend This position is located in San Francisco, CA (Onsite, 5 days per week). What You Will Do As a Member of Technical Staff – Backend, you'll play a key role in architecting and building core backend systems that power AI-driven data extraction and automation products. You'll collaborate closely with ML and product teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that directly impact customers. Key responsibilities include Designing and developing backend systems that deploy machine learning capabilities in both training and production environments. Driving architectural decisions for core services that enable rapid iteration and reliable performance. Building integrations between ML inference pipelines, monitoring tools, APIs, and user-facing applications. Developing database and data processing layers that support complex business logic. Improving CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery velocity and ensure robust deployments. Partnering directly with customers to understand workflow challenges and shape product outcomes. Ideal Candidate Background We're looking for a strong backend engineer with 5+ years of experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving r
