POSITION PURPOSE Member Services Representatives (MSR's) play a vital role and are the face of the Credit Union.At Centricity Credit Union, your job is to make a positive impact on members and non-members by answering questions accurately and completing a wide variety of transactions which will meet their needs.Helping members is the front and center of what we do.If you are eager to learn, being a part of a team, love working with people and most importantly like to have fun, this is the job for you! _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Represent the credit union to members and non-members in a courteous and professional manner Processes member's transactions timely and accurately Balances at the end of the day with little to no errors Research teller errors when identified, respond and communicate appropriately Knowledge of Credit Union Products and Services Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed members expectations Identify sales opportunities to deepen member relationships by building rapport, uncovering needs, offering recommendations and submitting referrals to other departments of the Credit Union Adhere to Centricity Credit Unions Policies and Procedures Support Centricity Credit Unions commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion by demonstrating the ability to work with a diverse range of individuals of all ages and backgrounds Maintain member confidentiality Other duties as assigned PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS Personal and department goals are consistently met or exceeded.Management is appropriately informed of area activities.Workflows and assignments are completed in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.Excellent communication skills used with members and staff members.Ensure responses to member or staff member questions are timely.Attendance at professional growth training.QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification:High school graduate or equivalent Experience Preferred:Teller experience preferred but not required.A minimum of 6 months customer service and cash handling experience Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent interpersonal and personal skills Analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent decision-making skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Well organized with attention to detail Ability to learn new and use existing technology to increase accuracy and efficiencies Ability to change teaching techniques based on learner Ability to pass a background check PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION Talking:Clear, concise speech is necessary.Must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.Average Hearing:Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.Repetitive Motion:Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.Average Visual Abilities:Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery.Physical Strength:Sedentary work and standing for long periods of time.Exerts up to 10 lbs.of force occasionally.(Almost all office jobs.)
