Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Member Service Representative - I, where you'll be the friendly face and helpful voice for our valued members.In this energetic role, you'll deliver exceptional customer service by assisting members with their financial needs, managing transactions accurately, and promoting our financial products.Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help foster strong relationships, ensure smooth banking operations, and contribute to member satisfaction.This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in financial services while making a positive impact in our community.Duties Greet members warmly and provide prompt, courteous assistance in person and over the phone.Handle cash transactions with precision, including deposits, withdrawals, and cash handling duties such as debits & credits.Process loan applications and originate new loans by gathering necessary information and explaining terms clearly.Manage member accounts efficiently using financial software, ensuring accuracy in deposits, withdrawals, and account updates.Identify opportunities for upselling banking products and services that meet members' needs while maintaining compliance with fraud prevention protocols.Detect and prevent potential fraud activities through vigilant monitoring of transactions and account activity.Build strong relationships with members through effective relationship management and personalized service to enhance member loyalty.Skills Proven experience in financial sales, customer relationship management, or retail banking environments.Strong knowledge of banking operations including cash management, cashiering, and basic math skills such as retail math and 10 key typing.Ability to perform loan processing tasks accurately while explaining loan options to members.Familiarity with financial software systems used for account management and transaction processing.Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that motivates positive interactions.Ability to detect suspicious activity related to fraud prevention and implement appropriate measures.Solid understanding of financial services concepts including debits & credits, cash handling procedures, and relationship management strategies.Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your career in the financial industry!
