Job Title: Mental Health & Eating Disorder LVN PART TIME – Residential Mental Health Facility Our Facility We Conquer Together is a residential primary mental health facility that is staffed and structured to support those with co-occurring eating disorders located in Yorba Linda, California. Our six-bed facility is intentionally designed to provide an intimate environment where individuals of all genders can focus on healing. Position Summary The Mental Health and Eating Disorder LVN Staff at We Conquer Together is responsible for providing direct patient care and supervision in collaboration with the care team. The position requires working closely with patients, their families, and the treatment team to provide a safe and supportive environment. This position reports directly to the Medical Director and Clinical Director. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings—such as inpatient, residential, or partial hospitalization programs—who have an interest or background in Eating Disorder Recovery. Familiarity with the All Foods Fit philosophy and the Health at Every Size (HAES®) framework is strongly valued, as these principles guide our compassionate, evidence-based approach to care. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and supervision in accordance with facility policies and procedures Monitor patient behavior and physical health status, reporting any changes to the treatment team Measure and record patients' vital signs, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Monitoring medication self administration and treatments as ordered by the physician or nurse practitioner Assessing for medication efficacy and symptom management, documenting observation and patient report to collaborate with medical team Assist with meal preparation as needed and ensure patients are following their individualized meal plans Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during meal times and throughout the day Document patient progress and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in treatment team meetings and participation in trainings. Conducting screens and assessments as needed, including but not limited to an initial nursing assessment and a pain screen. Ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean and safe condition Understand and apply the guidelines and protocols concerning Medication Management and Infection Prevention and Control as per the Joint Commission standards. Supervise the adherence to National Patient Safety Goals best practices by all staff members Conducting 15 minute or 30 minute rounds as needed Facilitate or contribute to group therapy sessions and recreational activities, enhancing social engagement and emotional health of our clients. Assist in client transportation to or from the facility, admission, discharge, or appointments. Qualifications: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of California Able to pass a criminal background check (LiveScan) for the California Department of Social Services. Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in acute or residential behavioral health settings Current BLS Certification or CPR/First Aid Certification Knowledge of basic medical terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confi
