Description United Recovery Project Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician (MHT) to join our Mental Health Residential Treatment Program. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting patients with high-acuity mental health disorders, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other complex psychiatric conditions, while contributing to a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. Experience working with mental health or substance use populations is preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening in accordance with state regulations. About the Role The Mental Health Technician (MHT) plays a critical role in supporting patients within a structured residential setting. This position is responsible for monitoring patient safety, assisting with daily activities, facilitating therapeutic milieu structure, and providing direct support to individuals with high-acuity psychiatric conditions.
