Position Overview D&W Psych is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LPCC) to provide individual, family, and couples therapy. This role includes conducting biopsychosocial assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and ensuring accurate documentation. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and the option for hybrid work, with both telehealth and in-person services available. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and couples therapy. Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to gather client history and presenting concerns. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and client needs. Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust interventions accordingly. Provide crisis management and support to clients experiencing acute distress. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards. Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure strict client confidentiality. If unlicensed, participate in face-to-face supervision as required by the requirements of your graduate counseling or psychology program. If licensed, maintain continuing education credits as per state licensure requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Work Hours & Compensation Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, W2 Compensation: Commission-based with competitive rates based on licensure status and experience. Schedule: Flexible hours Location: Hybrid (Telehealth and/or in-person). Willing to provide supervision for licensure). If unlicensed, must obtain licensure within two years for continued employment. Education: Master’s or doctoral degree in professional counseling from a CACREP-accredited program or an equivalent program. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in technology, including the ability to navigate clinical software and telehealth platforms. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is preferred, along with the ability to maintain accurate digital documentation in compliance with professional standards. Clinical Expertise: Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and treatment planning. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and terminology. Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to build trusting, professional relationships with clients.
