Mercado Attendant (Gift Shop Attendant) Casa Bonita Overview:For 51 years, Casa Bonita has been synonymous with families, fanfare, and fun.Restored to its former glory in 2023, Casa transports guests back to a childlike oasis that is both mysterious and captivating, with an unforgettable dining and entertainment experience that includes live music, shows, games and memories that will last a lifetime.Our team members have a shared passion for being a part of the Casa legacy and are eager to work together to define this exciting new chapter in our history.Compensation Range:$21.00/Hour Why Join Our Team:Great earning potential Affordable medical insurance available Employer-sponsored dental and vision Paid vacation and sick time Exclusive employee discounts at our Mercado store Career growth opportunities Employee family meal What You'll Do:The Mercado Attendant greets guests, assists with purchases, and ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience.Responsibilities:Follow established steps of service to greet guests warmly and offer assistance Able to work independently while maintaining clear communication and collaborating effectively with team members Welcome and engage with all guests to create a memorable experience Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and comply with all company policies and safety regulations Recommend merchandise and upsell additional products at both the Mercado and Exit Plaza while exceeding guest expectations Assist in any merchandising functions including display design, inventory receiving, stocking, and restocking Perform cash-handling functions, including operating Point-of-Sale systems, registers, processing sales, and completing daily reports Prepare the Mercado/Exit Plaza set for the next shift Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing new merchandise Perform final cleaning tasks, such as dusting, sweeping, and organizing merchandise Complete register reconciliation and cash handling procedures Communicate changes in inventory or any issues or concerns to the Mercado team and leadership Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the Mercado Manager based on business needs Qualifications:18years of age High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 6 months of retail experience Prior experience in a customer-facing role Prior cash-handling experience Able to use multiple software programs and adapt to new systems and computers Proficiency in math Strong conflict resolution skills to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive guest experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passionate about observing others Able to communicate effectively in English Must have reliable form of transportation and be able to work flexible shifts, inclusive of weekends, days, late nights, and holidays Preferred:Bilingual in Spanish Physical & Environmental Demands:Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts Able to work in confined spaces Comfortable working in loud, distracting environments Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue under pressure Benefits:Casa Bonita also offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees.Deadline to Apply:04/30/26 All job applicants for duties to be performed at Casa must be Colorado residents at the time of application.To apply for this role, please click on the apply for this position button below..
