Pay is $20.00/hr Established in 1876, the Lewis Bear Company has been a locally-owned and operated distribution company for five generations.It is the oldest privately held corporation in Florida and Anheuser-Busch's oldest continuous distributor.Our territory is Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, Franklin and Gulf Counties in Florida.Summary of a Merchandiser:Full time positions available at local beer distributor Responsibilities of a Merchandiser:Duties include lifting, stacking, and rotating 25 lb.cases of product in retail accounts such as grocery and convenience stores.Fills and rotates backstock in accounts.Re-stocks all selling locations for The Lewis Bear Company products.Example:cooler, display, hot half, end caps, etc.All re-stocks need to be according to predetermined sequence such as size, type of package and product code, as regulated by Anheuser-Busch, Inc., and The Lewis Bear Company standards and procedures.Drives assigned vehicle to licensed customer's place of business, following safe driving policies Maintains a good rapport with all retail customers and consumers.Performs miscellaneous merchandising assignments such as retail surveys, pull sheets, store check-ins, etc.Daily cleaning and inspection of company vehicles.All issues reported to management immediately.Weekend work is required.Unloads product from truck to cooler, backroom, or display areas, as needed.Assists drivers in their daily activities when needed.Assists in building displays.All other duties assigned.Requirements of a Merchandiser:Prefer 1 yr.of related experience but will train.Valid Driver's License with less than 7 pts.in last three years.Employees will drive logo'd company vehicles (Budweiser, Bud Light, etc.) HS diploma or GED.Benefits & Perks:Excellent compensation and benefits package.7 paid major holidays and your birthday!
