Mergers & Acquisitions Sr Analyst We have an exciting career opportunity for a candidate looking to transition into a very active Mergers & Acquisitions team. The Sr Analyst will play a critical role in assisting the team in identifying and executing on strategic acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures, and other strategic relationships in order to help acquire assets, invest in companies, and obtain relationships to grow the revenue and profitability of the company. Candidates should have outstanding corporate/acquisition finance, negotiation, problem solving, influencing, and relationship building skills. Specific job responsibilities will include: Financial statement analysis Financial modeling and development of target projection model Target valuation and financial return analysis (i.e., discounted cash flow analysis, accretion dilution analysis, ROIC analysis, etc.) Creation of internal presentation materials Supporting due diligence processes Maintenance of proprietary M&A databases Industry and competitor analysis Requires BA/BS degree in finance, business or accounting and 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, transaction services, or consulting or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Requires strong financial and modeling skills with attention to detail and highly organized. Must have strong industry and business analysis skills and be able to work independently and under time pressure. Requires advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Capital IQ and / or FactSet.
