The Role Utilizes metrology calibration systems and techniques to measure characteristics of objects based on applied principles of measurement science. Performs measurement surveys using Photogrammetry, Total Stations, Laser Trackers, CMM's or other electronic 3D instruments. Uses 3D model based software and design drawings to plan and execute the measurement survey including the analysis of the collected data to the end user. Develops, coordinates, and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design. Recommends design or test methods utilizing metrolo
