Microbiology/Immunology Faculty - College of Medicine Apply Now 12/31/2025 Jacksonville Jacksonville FL United States of America Education Full-time Description The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Jacksonville campus, is seeking qualified medical educators to join our team of Microbiology/Immunology faculty. We are looking for dedicated, innovative individuals who aspire to work collaboratively with our faculty to produce the next generation of osteopathic physicians. Our mission is focused on excellence in education, research, clinical care, and service. Minimum requirements include a terminal degree (Ph.D., D.O., M.D.) and demonstrated interest in teaching medical students. Preference will be given to candidates with at least three years’ teaching experience in medically-oriented microbiology. Faculty rank and salary are dependent upon qualifications and experience. JOB SUMMARY: Microbiology Faculty members are required to serve as educators in Microbiology and Immunology, facilitate Problem Based Learning (PBL), advise Osteopathic medical students, interview medical school applicants, and contribute to the mission of the college through research and service. The successful candidate is knowledgeable and qualified to teach Microbiology and Immunology at a medical college level.
