Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP is seeking an associate with at least two years of related experience to join our Commercial Finance team in our Atlanta office. Our Commercial Finance team represents clients in a diverse array of secured financing transactions, advising on a broad spectrum of complex deals including syndicated lending transactions, leveraged acquisitions, and mezzanine/second lien structured lending. Associates work closely with experienced practitioners and regularly collaborate with our Mergers & Acquisitions team to support acquisition financings and other strategic transactions. You will play an integral role in structuring, negotiating, and closing sophisticated financing matters. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial lending transactions, strong drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: At least 2 years of relevant experience in commercial finance or a related practice Experience with syndicated lending, asset-based lending, leveraged finance, sponsor-backed financings and/or mezzanine lending transactions preferred Strong academic credentials Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively We offer a collaborative environment and the opportunity to work on sophisticated and high-profile transactions.
