The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Services Engineering (GSE) organization is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Level Industrial Engineer to support the Tankers Programs (KC-46 and KC-135) in Jacksonville, FL . This position is in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) manufacturing environment. In this role, the selected candidate will support maintenance, modification, and retrofit aircraft operations while working with a cross-functional team to analyze productivity, recommend resource allocations (both personnel and spatial), and implement lean solutions to optimize the production system. Shift: This position supports first shift with the potential to work other shifts as necessary to support future business needs Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Education/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statemen t 3+ years of experience in the application of production engineering principles to analyze, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and method- s 3+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturin- g 3+ years of experience with Statistical Process Modeling including statistically driven modeling techniques (e.g., mathematical modeling, simulation, design of experiments, operations research) to analyze a syste- m 3+ years of experience interpreting technical engineering requirement- s 1+ years of experience leading development projects or operations team- s Ability to work independently (or under general direction) to determine and develop approaches to solutions that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objective- s Must be able to ascend and descend aircraft entry stair- s Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Education/Experience): 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certificatio
