Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time Academic Support Teacher to join our dynamic team. The teacher will provide academic support to students through both push-in and pull-out models, based on their individual needs. This role is essential in providing comprehensive support to all students, helping them reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide in-class support for core subjects (English, Math, History, and Science) by assisting all students with comprehension, note-taking, and class assignments. Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify and adapt lesson materials for diverse learning profiles. Conduct two weekly academic support sessions focused on targeted pre-teaching or reteaching to assist classified students in achieving academic success. Lead two study hall sessions weekly, focusing on organization, catching up on missed work, and mastering key material for classified students, as well as support for non-classified students requiring extra help. Qualifications: . Experience working with middle school students in an academic support capacity. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teachers and administrators. Dedication to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all students.
