Responsibilities of the History Teacher: Develop and organize a history curriculum for the grade/s assigned that meets school standards. Establish standards of student performance which can be quantitatively and qualitatively evaluated. Develop knowledge and skills essential to effectively teach students in the grade assigned. Promote students' critical and creative thinking and analysis and develop lesson plans and instructional materials. Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question and investigate.
