Key Qualifications Hold a current School Psychologist license issued by the state of North Carolina Certified to work with students in elementary, middle, and high school Familiar with a variety of evaluation and assessment tools appropriate for K-12 Previous experience conducting evaluations and providing recommendations in a school-based setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and school staff Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload Primary Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade Consult with educators, administrators, and parents to identify student support needs and develop action plans Provide recommendations to support learning, behavior, and mental health in the school environment Prepare clear, detailed reports in line with school and district guidelines Serve as a resource and advocate for students' emotional and academic growth Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to create effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) This role offers you the chance to foster resilience and success among students while expanding your professional skills.
