Job Title: Millwright – 4x2 Rotation Location: North Slope, AK – PIKKA Project Reports to: Project Manager Pay: $60 - $65 Hourly Schedule : 7 Days – 12 Hours p/day Who We Are Udelhoven Oilfield System Services, Inc. What You Will Do We are seeking a skilled and experienced millwright to join our team. The millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and dismantling machinery and heavy equipment in our industrial facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. This is a rotation schedule which will involve 12 Hour Days, 7 Days a Week For a 4 week period. Housing and food will be provided while on site by UOSS. Additional Information Flights from Anchorage to the slope are paid for by the company. Flights from the lower 48 to Anchorage are the responsibility of the EMPLOYEE. Primary Responsibilities Installation: Assemble and install new machinery and equipment according to blueprints, technical specifications, and manufacturer guidelines. Ensure proper alignment, fit, and functionality of components. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of machinery. This includes inspecting equipment, lubricating moving parts, and replacing worn or damaged components. Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with machinery and equipment. Repair or replace faulty components to restore functionality and minimize downtime. Dismantling: Disassemble and relocate machinery and equipment as needed. Rig and transport heavy components safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and regulations. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Identify and address potential safety hazards in the work environment, and maintain a clean and orderly workspace. Documentation Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventory. Complete work orders, inspection reports, and other documentation as required. Training & Collaboration: Provide guidance and training to junior millwrights and maintenance staff as needed. Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and support operational objectives. Skills & Qualifications: Gas turbine placement and assembly Compressor placement and assembly Base plate leveling Machine alignment using dial indicators and / or laser alignment. Piping strain checks Machine startup data collection (vibrations, temperatures, sound levels…) Proven experience as a millwright or similar role in an industrial setting Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skill Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics Knowledge of welding, machining, and fabrication techniques Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to safety practices and regulations Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy equipment and tools. Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in millwrighting is preferred.
