Reports to:Aquatics Director.Aquatics Coordinator or Lifeguard Supervisor Job Summary:Seasonal position to monitor activities on Mini-Golf course, Playground & Splash Pad Duties and Responsibilities: Aid in the safe use of Mini-Golf course and equipment. Enforces course rules and regulations and maintains order on course. Hands out balls and clubs to participants and collects clubs at end of play. Retrieves balls from the last hole to maintain adequate supply on hand. Notifies lifeguard in the event of injury or harm to participant. Oversee the Playground and Splash Pad areas and provide necessary assistance. Pick up litter from splash pad, playground and mini golf on an hourly basis. Clear leaves and debris from assigned areas with electric blower. Any other duties are deemed necessary, reasonable and relevant as assigned by the Aquatics Director.Qualifications Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Must have ability to follow directions and interact well with children, staff, members and guests. Possess effective verbal communication and listening skills.Working Conditions and Environment Constant periods of sitting and or standing in golf shed engaged in occupational duties.Occasional periods of walking around golf course, gaming areas and playground. Frequent exposure to outdoor elements and temperatures including sun, wind, rain heat and cold. Frequent intervals of interaction with children, members, guests and staff. Subject to loud noises from participants, crowds, machinery or banquet/picnic functions which may occur throughout the workday..
