Job SummaryJoin our dynamic team as a Mitigation Technician and become a vital part of restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, and other damages.In this energetic role, you will execute hands-on mitigation and restoration tasks with precision and enthusiasm, helping clients recover quickly and confidently.Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the restoration industry while making a meaningful difference in people's lives.Responsibilities Perform water damage restoration, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement with efficiency and care.Utilize hand tools and power tools to remove damaged materials, prepare surfaces, and assist in structural repairs.Conduct thorough cleaning of affected areas, including carpet cleaning and debris removal, to restore properties to their pre-damage condition.Assist with construction-related tasks such as drywall removal, surface preparation, and minor repairs under supervision.Follow safety protocols diligently while operating equipment like saws, drills, and other restoration tools.Document work progress accurately through reports and communicate effectively with team members and clients throughout each project.Support the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with industry standards.Requirements Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred.Knowledge of mitigation techniques including water extraction, fire cleanup, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement.Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environments; ability to lift heavy objects is essential.Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures at all times.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is often required for travel between job sites.Certifications in mold remediation or asbestos abatement are a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to restoring homes and businesses after unexpected damages!
