Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mitigation Technician to join our dynamic restoration team.In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing cleanup, repair, and mitigation services for properties affected by water, fire, mold, and other damages.Your expertise will help clients recover quickly and safely from unexpected disasters.This position offers an energetic work environment where your skills in restoration and construction will make a meaningful difference in people's lives.The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, and eager to develop their skills within the restoration industry.Duties Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and techniques.Conduct fire damage cleanup, including debris removal, soot and smoke odor mitigation, and surface cleaning.Execute mold remediation procedures following industry standards to safely remove mold infestations from affected areas.Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, repair, and construction activities as needed during restoration projects.Clean and sanitize affected areas thoroughly, including carpets, upholstery, and hard surfaces using appropriate cleaning methods.Support the overall restoration process by documenting work performed and communicating progress to team leads.Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to water, fire, mold, and asbestos remediation.Experience in fire restoration, water damage restoration, and general property mitigation preferred.Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools for demolition and repair tasks.Ability to operate carpet cleaning equipment effectively.Understanding of construction basics related to restoration projects.Knowledge of the restoration industry standards and safety protocols.Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness during cleanup and repairs.Join our team to make a real impact by helping clients restore their homes and businesses swiftly!
