Description - What You'll Do Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols. Ensure result accuracy, provide insight into troubleshooting errors, and maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments. Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis on an as-needed basis. Thoroughly document all procedures, assist in training new colleagues or students, and help maintain high-quality laboratory standards. Uphold a clean and safe work environment, adhering to both regulatory and accreditation standards. Education A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment. Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
