What You'll Be Responsible For Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established guidelines. Evaluate results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal operation. Support with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary. Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new hires or interns, and assist in maintaining high standards of lab quality. Ensure a clean, safe working environment while following all regulatory and accreditation standards. Required Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP or AMT certification. Necessary Certifications Acquire ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment. Keep current certification active throughout your tenure.
