Job Summary Join our fast growing team at Mobile Mechanic & Rental LLC. We are dedicated to maintaining and repairing Amazon Delivery Fleet vehicles. In this energetic role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and execute preventive maintenance and mid tier repairs on a variety of heavy-duty delivery vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that Amazons fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of delivery vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and self diagnostic tools. Perform repairs and maintenance on gas and diesel engines, transmissions, brakes (including air brake systems), suspensions, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and other critical components. Diagnose automotive problems using automotive diagnostics software and mechanical knowledge to determine root causes efficiently. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, incident logs, and ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards. Assist in the assembly or replacement of vehicle parts including but not limited to tires, lamps, belts and electrical components to maximize vehicle uptime. Qualifications Proven experience working as a mechanic in dealership settings or heavy truck and or cargo vans operation environments. Medium knowledge of automotive repair including transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC units, gas & diesel engines, shocks & struts. Skilled in troubleshooting complex fuse and electrical issues. Experience and familiarity with proper and power tools is essential. Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and safety compliance.
