Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription: About the Role Inontime is hiring a Mobile Trailer Mechanic (Fleet Maintenance Technician) to join our team. In this hands-on, independent role, you’ll drive a fully equipped mobile maintenance vehicle to perform on-site trailer inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Schedule Four 11-hour shifts: Monday through Thursday Enjoy a consistent 3-day weekend every week Primarily first shift Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays, no Sundays Pay & Benefits $55,000–$70,000 per year $2.95/hr. premium for hours worked between 6 PM–5 AM and on Saturdays (if applicable) 100% company-paid health insurance starting day one Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Paid time off and holidays Company-paid short-term disability and life insurance 401(k) 4% no match required What You’ll Do Operate a mobile maintenance truck to service trailers at local sites Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailer components (brakes, suspension, lighting, etc.) Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks Document work completed and communicate with the Fleet Operations Supervisor Follow all safety and compliance standards Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Requirements: What You’ll Need 2+ years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair, particularly with trailers is preferred. Valid drivers license (Class A preferred) Certifications in brakes, suspension, and electrical (or willingness to train) ASE Certifications preferred: T4 - Brakes, T5 - Suspension & Steering, T6 - Electrical/Electronic Systems Strong mechanical skills and ability to work independently Clean driving record
