Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Modern Worship Leader to inspire and lead our congregation in vibrant, contemporary worship experiences. This role is vital in cultivating an engaging spiritual environment through music, teaching, and leadership that resonates with diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a heart for ministry to foster a welcoming atmosphere where individuals can connect deeply with their faith through modern worship expressions. Duties Lead engaging and inspiring worship services that incorporate contemporary music styles and innovative multimedia elements. Develop and plan worship sets that align with the church’s spiritual themes and seasonal calendar. Teach and communicate the vision of modern worship to team members, volunteers, and the congregation to foster unity and shared purpose. Mentor and mentor emerging worship leaders, musicians, and vocalists to develop their skills and confidence. Collaborate with pastoral staff to integrate worship into overall church programming and special events. Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for various roles within the worship team, including musicians, singers, sound technicians, and multimedia operators. Foster a positive team environment that encourages creativity, growth, and spiritual development among all team members. Requirements Proven experience leading modern worship in a church or faith-based setting with a strong understanding of contemporary musical styles. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of volunteers and staff. Excellent communication skills for teaching, mentoring, and collaborating across teams. Strong background in teaching music or worship arts, with the ability to develop others’ talents effectively. Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances during services while maintaining professionalism. Knowledge of sound equipment, multimedia technology, and stage management is preferred. A genuine passion for ministry combined with a heart for serving others through music and leadership.
