Mold Maintenance Technician - Temp Position Irvine, CA $40/hr Day Shift We are hiring an experienced Mold Maintenance Technician for a temporary opportunity with a leading medical manufacturing company in Irvine, CA.This hands-on role supports injection molding operations through mold maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and precision assembly work.Responsibilities Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble injection molds Perform preventative mold maintenance and document completed work Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, including heaters and thermocouples Operate shop equipment such as CNC machines, mills, and lathes Use hand and power tools including impact and torque wrenches Safely operate hoists to move molds weighing up to 1,000 lbs.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Work closely with mold shop and production teams to support manufacturing operations Qualifications 5years of mold maker, tool & die, machining, or mold maintenance experience Experience working with injection molds and plastic components Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience with CNC machining, milling machines, and lathes Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail Schedule Training:Monday-Friday day shift Regular Shift:5:00 AM - 5:00 PM Rotating schedule:Week 1:Sunday-Wednesday Week 2:Sunday-Tuesday Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Program Health Savings Account (HSA) AD&D Insurance Ready to join a stable and growing manufacturing team?
